Inspected Before It Ships
Every pair passes a multi-point inspection before it is prepared for dispatch. We examine construction, materials, stitching, branding, the box and the labelling against known genuine references for that specific model. Anything that does not meet our standard is not sent. Because StepForge operates on an order-request basis, this inspection happens as part of preparing your order — a deliberate checkpoint that most automated stores simply don’t have.
Original Manufacturer Packaging
Authentic footwear arrives in its original manufacturer packaging, and we treat that packaging as part of the product. Your pair ships in its genuine branded box, which we protect inside a separate outer carton so it reaches you undamaged. We never use the shoe box itself as the shipping box. For many customers the box matters as much as the shoes, and we handle it accordingly.
Authentic Brands Only
We carry footwear from six established names — Nike, Adidas, New Balance, ASICS, HOKA and Brooks — and we deal only in genuine product from them. We do not stock unbranded alternatives, lookalikes or “inspired-by” product, and we never misrepresent what something is. If we list a shoe under a brand’s name, it is a genuine article made by that brand.

Authenticity and quality go together. Beyond confirming that a pair is genuine, we check that it is in the condition you would expect from a premium retailer — free of defects, correctly paired, and complete with everything it should include. A shoe can be authentic and still fall short of our standard for condition; in that case, it doesn’t ship. The standard we apply is simply the one we would want applied to our own order.
